About Us
Founded in 2006 by Boubker Mazoz, IDMAJ Foundation for Development is a Moroccan non-profit organization committed to empowering vulnerable children, youth, and women living in disadvantaged and underserved neighborhoods. IDMAJ was born from a deep conviction: that young people growing up in marginalized environments do not lack talent or intelligence — they lack opportunity, guidance, and safe spaces to thrive. From its very beginning, the Foundation has focused on restoring hope, dignity, and ambition among youth who are often exposed to social exclusion, school dropout, unemployment, delinquency, and loss of confidence. The first milestone of IDMAJ was the creation of the Sidi Moumen Cultural Center. As the impact grew, the Foundation expanded its work through additional cultural and community proximity centers, developed in partnership with the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH). Today, IDMAJ continues to operate at the heart of communities, working directly with families and local stakeholders to create sustainable social change.
