About Us
Founded in 2006, the IDMAJ Foundation for Development emerged from a critical need to support children in difficult situations and vulnerable youth, particularly in impoverished and marginalized neighborhoods. Our mission is to protect young people from social dangers such as delinquency, smoking, alcoholism, drug abuse, violence, and extremism. Through personalized initiatives, we promote individual development, self-confidence, mutual respect, and tolerance in a sociocultural and community-based framework through our local cultural and community centers. We actively advocate for education and school retention by providing academic support and essential psychological aid to reduce dropout rates. Additionally, in promoting women's empowerment, we organize workshops for economic independence, helping women integrate into the labor market and access income-generating activities. Through these efforts, the IDMAJ Foundation aims to contribute to a safer and more promising future for marginalized youth and women.
